There are two engine options in the Pathfinder. The powerful V-6 engine has got the power of producing 266 horsepower and 288 pound-feet of torque. There are also the better performance engine option than this which has 5.6-liter and the engine of V-8 which adds the power of 100 foot-pounds of torque and 44 more horsepower.

But one notable thing to get noted is that the engine power and the wheels are the prime features of the performance. Both the engines are having the better five speed automatic transmission. The top most point of the performance is the best coordination of all these factors and still to produce the smoothest functioning.

Fuel Economy

The EPA fuel economy is approximately 15 mpg for the city, 22 for the highway on the V-6 with 2WD to 12/18 mpg for V-8-equipped 4WD Pathfinders. It’s one of the most powerful and pleasure SUV that is also used for improving the carrying capacity. Towing capacity of the vehicle is 7,000 pounds which is highest in the same category.

Speciality

The four wheel drive system is one of the better quality characters of the Pathfinder. The special feature of the car is the electronically controlled transfer case which has the most splendid effect on the speed and control of the SUV. The surprising feature of the vehicle is the sharpness of the driving and decency of the car handling. The controlling of the vehicle is also quite impressive. There are some of the better features of the vehicle like progression and smoothness of driving.

Interior

Interior of the vehicle is somewhat mess and also the qualities of the materials used are not too satisfactory and they are not making an impression at all in the minds while entering the car. The Pathfinder has capacity of allowing seven persons in the vehicle. The front seat of the SUV is too comfortable. Rear seats are not delivering the same comfort and also they are not offering the best relief to the insiders.

The headroom and the legroom of the vehicle are not too attractive and the space on the third seat is never satisfactory. Third seats are not made for the elders as they provide the space that is not even sufficient for the kids. So, this could be the most depressing fact that the space of the third seat is not good enough for the insiders.

Cargo Room

Although there is never a sufficient room for the third raw, but still there is a great space for the cargo and goods to store. The area of 79 cubic foot cargo is having the space for two glove boxes and also the air bags that protects the drivers and the insiders.

Safety

Safety feature is emphasised largely by the Nissan Pathfinder. There are some better features like side airbags and also the optional airbags that are quite useful for the insiders and they are the most storming features of safety for the people insiders.
The front protection is also good which generally s avoided by other companies.
